Ezra, also known as Ez, is a seven-foot-tall Viera who loves meeting new people. You can often find her in the Quicksands, playing music, hanging out with friends, or making mischief with her favorite Miqo’te. Ezra spent most of her childhood in a tiny village in the forest with her mom and many other female Viera. As was customary in her village, she was trained to fight but never saw the point in it. She wanted to explore and learn about the cute animals and flowers near her village, but it was not meant to be.Her legs were the strongest and fastest, making her destined to do great things in the eyes of her people. Her mom always made plans for Ezra’s future without even asking or knowing how she felt. Like her family before her, Ezra bore the weight of expectation to become a great defender of their land. Never once did her mother ask her how she felt. When she asked why she had to fight, she always received the same answer of “this is how it is and how it will always be.” As the years went by, she grew tired of being told she was too young to understand and hatched a plan to run away.It was not an easy decision to make; leaving meant never seeing her family again, but she had to follow her heart. In the dead of night, her fast legs carried her away, never looking back and her journey into Eorzea began.
